Egret in take off mode... I'm thinking about doing a painting of this photo I have... also have a pretty good photo of one already in flight... the image gobbled up this page, and still had no room for both his feet. LOL

    I love it! Egrets and herons are my favorite "favorite" birds (hummingbirds and finches and bluejays and owls are all on that list, too). This is a terrific sketch and would be an awesome painting!

    Thanks Angie... I love egrets and herons... so elegant and graceful. Blue jays are beautiful, but mean so they aren't one of my favorites.. I do like blue birds and house finches and sparrows, and sea gulls, and my parrots of course... ok... I'm a bird lover ;-)
