Drew my Pandora bracelet, my girl friend in Atlanta gave me the bracelet for Christmas, I've been adding red and white beads to it. It is one of my favorites. Then I heard on the radio about Neil Armstrong passing away, very sad to hear about it. Glad in a way that he got to witness the Mars landing, if only we'd had a man on Mars instead of just a robot. Of all the things our government spends millions and billions of dollars on the NASA program was the most inspiring and money well spent in my opinion. Sad that their mission has been changed these days.
A sad day indeed. I agree about the space program. I suppose change is inevitable- but the glory of it all has faded. A passing time.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful message from the family of Neil Armstrong: "For those who may ask what they can do to honor Neil, we have a simple request. Honor his example of service, accomplishment and modesty, and the next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink."
That is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a truly inspiring message - I will definitely do that when I see the moon.
