The journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step, and a knitted afghan begins with the first of 400 or so little knitted puffy octagons.
More organizing in the studio this morning... still no paint on paper :-( I'm quite good at procrastinating.
I thought I commented on this-maybe I did in some other forum. I'm learning to knit. There's a group here that knits hats and scarves to help get the poor and homeless through the Chicago winter. They promised to teach me. That will be a big act of charity on their part!
ReplyDeleteLove the sketch BTW.
Hats are easy and done on round needles all you have to do is knit no purling needed. I've been knitting since I was a child...so it is all easy for me. Living in Chicago you'll enjoy making gloves and sweaters...not much need for them here.lol
