Color blending exercise... lots of paint and water, have the triangle touch and watch the action. Some color just sit there (could I have used too little water)... others flood in an push the other color out of the way. Some just softly blend together. I'd like to try this again on actual watercolor paper, not sure if the sizing on the Stillman & Birn Journal is part of the equation or not. Playing with paint and water, one of my favorite pass times.
My favourite pastime too Elaine, best thing in the world!! Also helps you as much as anything to get to understand your pigments and how they behave or misbehave whichever is the case!!
