Misty Still Water painting...

Finished this today.  It is based on a lesson in Birgit O'Connor's DVD on Artist Network TV.  I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out.

  2. Thanks Pamo, the more I look at it the better I like it. Sometimes when they don't turn out like I saw it in my mind's eye, I'm disappointed in the out come... then after a while when I look at it, for what it is... my opinion softens and I like it after all. I KNOW you've experienced this I believe every artist feels this way. It is what keeps us making art.

  3. Oh, yes, I know that feeling. Maybe we have to gain distance from our original expectation for the painting.

I think this one is really beautiful!! Well done.

  5. Love this one Elaine!! Thanks for visiting my blog and yes I will think about doing unframed prints, I have to source a printer who will be able to do them... the xmas cards last year weren't good colour production so am hoping the printer this year will be better and maybe they will be able to do some giclee prints for me.

  6. Finding a printer that will work with you and produce quality work can be difficult. Maybe ask around at the local art galleries to see who they recommend.
