Sept16Art

Trees on the edge of the swamp... cypress I think they are.. The ones in the swamp are really tall with a base much larger than the trunk.  I'm running out of trees to draw.

  1. We don't need penmanship because of the computer. Maybe the next thing will be spelling because of spell check. Maybe it has already happened and we don't know it! Good post!

Part of the reason I write in my journal in cursive is because cursive is no longer taught in the schools... however, my grandchildren learned cursive either from me or from their mothers... so at least my grandchildren will be able to read the original Constitution and Declaration of Independence.

  3. Great tree, it reminds me of a bonsai. I really like how you handled the leaves and the light striking the tops of them. Awesome series you have going here!!

  5. I love seeing these grown up bonsai! Every time we go hiking in the mountains I can't resist taking a ton of pics of gnarly, twisty trees.
