Shade.. brought lots of things to mind, but a beach umbrella most of all. Hit the 90s today in Charleston, with humidity so thick you could slice it with a knife (ha ha). We had seafood for lunch at our favorite down home fish place called Gilligans... sinful hushpuppies that we both broke our low carb diet today to have a few... worth it... so good.

    Well, my goodness, we practically had the same day! Wonderful hot thick Florida humidity, and a fish place in Coconut Grove called Scotty's Landing facing a harbor. I sat there with my watercolors and committed a few foody sins myself. It was near heaven. A guitarist was singing, but really, Jimmy Buffet should have been there in person.
