These bulbs full of poison mercury, are to me a symbol of BIG GOVERNMENT and how it can HARM us all with foolish regulations... some day when our land fills are full of these poisonous bulbs. The volume of them will poison the ground water... what will the politicians do then? Say they are sorry? Don't buy them people, and if you have them in your house DO NOT break them and DO NOT throw them in the trash. Buy LED or incandescent bulbs and come 2012 make sure you elect politicians that will REPEAL this foolish law.
Well, that's a new one on me! I didn't know they had mercury. Hm.
