I find 'political correct' speech very annoying. Where is all this double speak taking us? What is the point? Just whose delicate sensibilities are being protected? Who started this nonsense, that's what I'd like to know?

Love those cones! Wow did I run into the same thing today - I was at the book fair, and an author painted a rosy picture where, believe me, there was none. It was inauthentic and misleading. I found myself standing in front of a crowd of people berating the author and setting the record straight. Sharing reality - a bit of straight talk, you might say. I found myself with a group of people around me after the talk thanking me for speaking up.
