I opened the back door headed to lunch and gasped, I do believe she and her baby did the same. I froze and so did they... for a long moment Moma deer and I locked eyes... I had to go so I slowly started walking, they jumped a ran a short way... not into the swampy woods... just a bit farther away... It was a magic moment for me.
