The midnight blue in that stormy sky is wonderful (okay, I still talk colors in terms of Crayola colors-- midnight blue was always one of my favs, and that deep dark blue in the stormy sky made me think of it). The evergreens have a nice shape and outline, too.
It turned out beautifully. Even though a storm is about to wreak it's havoc - and looks scary. The castle seems to offer sanctuary from the storm to a weary traveller.
Off to check on dinner and ponder where that came from.

I love the way this turned out. The sky is fabulous and the castle just really adds to the piece. I look forward to seeing more of you pieces
