Just another thing I cannot do right now…so my knitting waits for two good hands, as does my flute. I read somewhere that a fellow in the hospital, with broken arms and legs in traction requested a qwerty keyboard be displayed on the ceiling so that he could study typing as he lay there. He imagined his hands on the keyboard and taught himself to type during the months he was in traction. When his casts came off… he could indeed type over 90 words a minute just from imagining that he was typing. Wonder if that would work on my flute practice? Couldn't hurt, could it?
