Okay, if you figure out how to inspire reading (not just force it), let me know, 'kay? James likes it, if it involves Star Wars or cars, but he has to be prodded to read in school. Kate would rather draw than read. I've tried explaining to her that she's going to have to be able to express herself with words, too, but she's stubborn. I just want them to love reading as much as I always have. *sigh*
Well I turn the TV off, and take the Nintendo away.. an hour of reading earns 15 mins on the game, or the Wii... and then there's the beach...I don't ask him to like it... just do it... once they do it and the books you choose are good ones... the loving to read follows naturally...
