The outdoor pests we call 'Flying Teeth', some people call them 'noseeums' are back in the Low Country this Spring.  Unlike the polite, yet annoying gnats in Georgia that might get in your eyes or land on your hotdog at a picnic, these Charleston gnats BITE and they draw BLOOD when they do it.  Sometimes I wonder why tourists continue to vote Charleston as the number one destination.
