My day started at 5am and ended after midnight... historic wins in the House, including our Tim Scott and Mick Mulvaney both of whom I supported. Some of my friends did not win...Sean Pike, Lee Edwards and Jim Pratt gave it their best shot, but sadly fell short.. I can't imagine how disappointed they must be, I know how very hard they all worked. I'm looking forward to getting some painting done now that this election is over.
Congratulations to your friend Tim on his victory. Condolences to the others. No matter who you are, making that decision to run for office has to be tough. It has to be even tougher to know you've opened yourself up to scrutiny,as well as spent your time and money campaigning, and still haven't won. It's good they have friends like you who let them know how proud you are of their effort.
