Oh my gosh, this made me laugh! Had a similar situation back in college. My roommate had a female dog, and I had a male. Let's just say that my dog and I slept in the car that night! And the next day, all of our neighbors let us know that they didn't appreciate his howling! Great sketch...you've even caught the expression on his face perfectly!!
