I tried drawing those really close hash marks for the shadow... made my eyes cross... and it took forever... the color on this is too intense, the waterbrush doesn't lend itself to subtle color shifts... this shell is a combination of ivory, pale (very pale) pink, and pale lavenders too... I did the best I could, it's a subject I'd like to attempt again.
