Some time Saturday night, 2 men broke the fork lock, and removed the ignition switch on my scooter and stole it... the police woke us up Sunday morning bright and early to find out if I'd 'loaned' them the scooter... amazing police work, absolutely amazing (we had no idea the scooter was gone)....
Then on another note, long RAINY ride thru the North Ga mountains to discover I'd arrived a week EARLY for class... tail twixt my legs... long rainy ride home... I feel very foolish indeed.

Apparently Toccoa got about 22 inches of rain over the last two days - I think, perhaps, we're glad we're NOT at William Holland this week for the massive rainstorm of the century!
