I like this one... I did like the sky in the other painting better... but this palmetto turned out pretty good I think

    Me likey, too :) I just read through the other posts about loose paintings, and I think this one has a great feel to it. I'm not a painter, though, so I'm not sure what is "loose" and what is not. . .I do think this one has a nice balance between detail (the many colors and shadows in the tree) and big sweeping generalizations that get the mood across (the points of the roofs peeking through the leaves).
