I couldn't get the deep purple looking red that the actual rose has ... but this is close. Drew this while I was cooking pork ribs on the grill... off to the Hockey game now.

But you did get some velvety texture happening in that deep red, even if it isn't as dark as you wanted! Beautiful rose! Ricky is getting ready to watch an NHL playoff game with the Blues.
