Ordered the pen on Monday from Pen City... arrived today... now THAT's fast... I did not pay for 2 day service but it got here in 2 days anyway. I plan to take better care of this one... I was sick that my other one clogged up and died on me...
Read a neat tutorial on painting water... so I'm off to try to paint some water... and maybe a tree or two since my trees still need work.

How the heck do you "paint water" and what are you going to do with that fancy new pen of yours?
ReplyDeleteElaine I use Noodler's ink in my Lamys, both waterproof and water soluble, both have behaved wonderfully even when left for weeks at a time without use.
ReplyDeleteI also have the yellow one...and a red...and a blue....erm...I have no excuses other than I am plain greedy!
LOL!
Well I musta missed something... cause my water just looks like blue paint LOL... So far I being drawing people faces and flowers with that pen.. breaking in the nib ... I love these pens... so smooth and creamy to write with... they're decandent :-)
ReplyDeleteNice pen! I must get one myself one day....
ReplyDeletePaper blocks, cool books, and now decadent pens-- Admit it, you are on a secret mission to make me want to go on a shopping spree in an art store, aren't you :)
ReplyDeleteWhat type of ink did you use in your Lamy? I have one and I want to put some waterproof ink in it...but Noodler's is so hard to find! What are you going to use?
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Nancy Patterson
PS: Love watching you progress in your watercolors...you are doing GREAT!
