I'm still struggling to find a good mix for black... I used Pthalo Green and Scarlett lake here... not quite right.
More rain today, the swamp at work has flooded onto the lawn, the egrets and herons have come to feed in the shallow water..they are so graceful and beautiful
I finally got my copy of my book... it looks amazing... I guess everyone thinks their babies are beautiful LOL
Ouch movie prices have gone sky high since the last time Ron and I went to a movie... $9.50 a ticket...on a Sunday afternoon... guess it'll be a long time before we go to the movies again...Ice Age 3 was VERY cute.. maybe those prices are why less than 10 people were in the theater...
Except for doing laundry, today we've just been out right lazy....now we're headed to the theather to see "Ice Age 3", first movie I've wanted to see in over 3 years...
Bigger crowd at this rally than the last one... what a great way to spend the 4th of July... now we're off to ride in the Jeep.

I believe this crowd was even larger than our 4/15 Tea Party... lots more room in this park, and lots more shade.

The Universe decided I really did need help. My on-line friend Lola has invited me to come to Myrtle Beach this fall and join her painting class any time I want... and I have a private lesson scheduled next week... so I'm a happy camper again.
Busy day today... ending with a good match and dinner with friends. Got a package from Cheap Joe with 2 tubes of new yellows and 1 green to try out, along with my very own copy of Making Color Sing.
