I don't know if it was claymation or digitally done, either way it was a cute movie.  I loved those 'Fractured Fairy Tales' cartoons as a kid, and Mr. Peabody and Sherman were a favorite of mine.

Rode my new motorcycle to the dentist this afternoon... I LOVE IT!  All the ladies at the dentist office came out to ooo and aaah over it.  I love my dentist office too... except now my teeth hurt, so I ate ice cream for dinner.  One more picture of my new FLRT...

I was at a loss this evening for something to draw, thought about drawing my thumb, but then spied a safety pin (a big one) on my desk and decided to draw it.  Then I googled 'safety pin' and realized I'd picked something mundane, but loaded with meanings I didn't even know about.  I wrote a few of the things safety pins 'mean' these days and in the past during WWII... really didn't mean to open a can of worms just drew a safety pin, no loaded meaning implied here.  Below is my new FLRT,  it arrived at the Harley Shop today and I should be able to bring it home tomorrow, I am so excited,  I LOVE the Laguna Orange color.

I love these multi-colored pencils, I doodle with them daily.  So I used one for a little quote on my page today. Worked on gluing down photos in my trip journal, much more to do, but it is a start.

Lazy Sunday, grilled some boneless chicken breasts and a couple of pork chops before the afternoon thunderstorms arrived.   The chicken breasts went into the freezer to use in salads later on.  Harvested some peppers for Ron's salad tonight, our jalapeños are much hotter that store bought peppers and we ate the pork chops for dinner... yum.

Hot today, humid and hot we went by the new Summerville Harley Shop today,  nice place,  going to offer full service to the folks out on that end of town now.  My new bike still isn't here, they say it'll be here Tuesday.  I'm impatiently waiting... very impatiently I might add.

The medians and the road sides across the country on our trip, were often loaded with blooming black eyed Susans. I contemplated including a drawing of them during the trip, but never actually did it, so a bit late, but a cheerful memory of a North American wild flower in today's journal.

Gracie missed me I think, she's been stuck beside me for two days now, sleeping on the floor beside me, instead of in her bed, I guess she wants to make sure I don't leave again :-)

Jun 4 - 20 WFR 2017

Women's Freedom Ride 2017 - I kept my personal daily journal as well as a ride Journal.  I'm still working on adding photos to the ride Journal.  It was the experience of a lifetime, and we got to meet the veteran and her service dog that we helped provide for her with our fund raising efforts.

Long day today, fun meeting new people, some mechanical issues for a couple of the ladies but for the most part a smooth trip to Knoxville, we sleep tomorrow in Paducah, Ky.  FYI the blank space on the day 1 page will have photos added later.

More flowers, busy day finishing up at work today, then getting ready for my trip across country.  We have a kick off dinner tonight,  I volunteered to bring the paper plates LOL I'm not much of a cook so no way to mess up paper plates and plastic forks.  I may be able to post some while on the road... I'll be keeping a trip journal as well as my usual journal.
