Had our first art room accident, little boy that just couldn't stay in his seat today jumping about, fell and banged his mouth on the table pretty hard, no blood, but it really hurt and he cried a lot.... sent the aids to get the school nurse to come and get him... I felt really bad for him... glad it wasn't serious but I know it hurt. I guess I'll have to be stricter about everyone staying in their seats.
Oh, boy, hope he recovered quickly. I get a little fired up when kids of any age ask me why they have to sit on their bottom in their chairs. Then I usually tell them how I learned the hard way that tilting a cane chair back on a slick linoleum floor ends painfully... took me more than one time sscchmacking that hard floor in my grandparents' kitchen to learn the lesson, but I finally quit leaning back in chairs... except if it's a lawn chair and the grass is fairly soft!
