This is an 8x10 panel, with one coat of Daniel Smith's Watercolor ground applied. I've got another panel ready with 2 coats of the ground on to see if it'll handle more like watercolor paper... even after the paint is dry on this painting anyway, it lifts off when another layer is added, it doesn't accept spatter techniques very well either...
In spite of all the struggles with it, I'm not displeased with how this has turned out.
