Teddy bear toss at the hockey game tonight, we have a couple of stuffed Mooses to toss out on the ice... they are so cute and soft. Been looking at cameras today, thinking about getting a Nikon D60 anyone have one of those? Do you like it? Is it worth $600 and do you think they'll go lower before Christmas?

Cute Chris-Moose :) DH bought me a D40 for an early Christmas present-- great deal on Black Friday at Best Buy included an offer for a case and the 200mm zoom lens for an extra $100. Don't remember whether or not there was a deal on the D60, but I say look around a bit and go for it! I love my D40 so far. Also, there was a soldier walking by us as we were looking. His comments, "You can get some even better deals online right now" and "Hey, Nikons are the only thing any of us will take into combat...they stand up to all that sand." Now, after telling him the deal on the D40, he thought that was comparable to what he'd seen online, but I don't know whether he'd seen better prices for the D60. Also, my sister has a friend who has the D80 or 90 and a D300 (or whatever the name of the really expensive one is), and she obviously loves her Nikons. Happy shopping!
