Boy did my tree stink last night... but I can't quit after just one bad session... I'm too green at this for that... so in the journals today I drew noses... but later tonight I'm doing trees again.

Well, I'd love to be able to sketch faces, but the nose-fairy will have to tap me with her magic drawing pencil before I'm ever able to grasp how to draw a nose! While the kids were playing with their friends today, I got out a simple how-to-draw-faces book and attempted eyes. Eyes? I might get those with a bit of focused practice. Noses? Ain't never gonna happen, so I'm going to live vicariously by watching you master them :) P.S. I like the tree!
ReplyDeleteIt only got up to about 95 in my neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. For us this is a real scorcher. No where near as humid as you folks in the southeast get.
ReplyDeleteLike the way you draw and the writing.

Your art is such an inspiration to me Elaine!! You are so dedicated and learning and sharing so much. Great noses!! Don't worry about the trees. I have been painting since 1977 and still hate painting them (and am still not very good at trees).
