Dick Blick Customer Service shines, so add them to the list of 'good guys'. Rachael or Ky Farm Life sent me some handmade soap... totally yummy stuff, can't wait to try it out. I LOVE the stamps on the envelope from Michelle, which safely delivered my gorgeous beads from her... it was like Christmas morning around here... with all the packages in the bed with me. Went to the Dr... got drugs, I still feel bad... but hopefully getting better soon.
I do love watching birds, all kinds of birds. Brown Pelicans are endangered but you wouldn't know it around here... they are everywhere on the water front.
This step is now drying... the exercise is focused on the stormy sky... I think I'm going to have some tide marks... but it really looks stormy I think.
This is a totally imaginary cityscape... Charleston has no tall buidings... by ordinance no more than 5 stories allowed, it's one of the things that keeps Charleston's historic skyline. I'm going to miss my birds and squirrels... I think they'll miss me for a little while.
Lots of new stuff to play with, new markers... I used them on this page. A new mop brush.. and a block of paper to paint on. One of the new bowls was broken in transit... bummer.. now I get to see how Dick Blick handles such problems.
Used my micron brush pen to render the pelicans... not sure I like the bold lines it lays down... not that crazy about my pelican either... maybe I'll go knit for a while.
What a GREAT day, met with my painting buddy and spent the better part of the day painting on her back porch... then opening season Hockey game... our team won, 5 to 3... Oh yeah.. it rained all day.
Rocks on Sullivan's Island Beach, used a photo Elizabeth had taken at sunset, we got together to paint, but had to use photos as it rained all day.
Fall Leaves, used a book Elizabeth had unfortunately my evergreens didn't turn out too good.... I want to see if I can find that book..as well as some others that she has that I don't. :-) BEAS...
Got a surprise package today, my friend Joy sent me a fabulous bead on a whistle to replace one I broke... and a little angel bead too...I am so blessed with artistic friends.
