Today I drew the my 9th Scavenger hunt drawing. The wooden Sailfish on my desk at work. With a bit of time on my hands... flat on my back at the hospital Physical Therapy Gym, I drew the only thing in view.. the A/c vent... and after putting on my shoes drew the 'RACK' were they put me in traction... looks like a rack too... but it doesn't hurt at all.. and maybe it'll help my poor back.

So annoyed with ink for my pen, ordered permanent ink... obviously, permanent does not mean the same thing to ink makers as it does to me. I'll be heading to the art store this weekend.

Summerville's Azalea Park was in full bloom on Easter Sunday. My skills were not up to the challenge... I tried to at least get the colors right....

March22 Palmetto Jeep club Egg Hunt
Palmetto Jeep Club held an Easter Egg hunt... and I drew our Yellow Jeep... used my new Lamy broad nib pen... but got a surprise when I added water... Lamy ink RUNS... darn.. and I really liked it too... guess I'll have to get the adapter and use bottled ink... is permanent ink available for them??? Starting again....
Well I neglected my other blog for so long, I forgot my password, and the e-mail addy I used to create it is history too.... so I begin again. Hopefully I'll keep up with this one a little better. I've started keeping a pen/ink watercolor journal... my plan is to post my pages here, as well as in the book. Some day when I'm gone, the books themselves will go to my grand-children... at least that's my goal right now.
Last year I had my right kidney removed, it was clear cell carcinoma... Kidney cancer... so my life has changed and I treasure every day... a little more than I used to...... so this was my Journal entry on 3/18... I'll post the days between... later...
